1. About PingMart
PingMart is a vendor discovery and trust platform for conversational commerce. We connect buyers with independent vendors who transact through messaging channels such as WhatsApp. PingMart is a directory and trust layer, we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and vendors and we do not hold inventory, process payments between them, or guarantee fulfilment.
2. Vendor responsibility
Vendors are solely responsible for their products, services, listings, pricing, fulfilment, refunds, customer service, taxes, and compliance with applicable laws in their jurisdiction. Vendors warrant that they have the right to sell the goods or services they list and that all listing information is accurate.
3. Listings, claiming, and unclaimed profiles
To improve discoverability, PingMart may publish listings for vendors based on publicly available business information (for example a public WhatsApp business profile, social storefront, or business directory). These listings are clearly marked as unclaimed until the vendor verifies ownership.
- The rightful business owner can claim, edit, or request removal of any unclaimed listing at any time by emailing support@pingmart.co from a contactable business address.
- Unclaimed listings never display verified badges and are excluded from paid features such as Spotlight.
- PingMart will action verified removal requests promptly, typically within a few business days.
4. Verification and trust signals
Verification badges, ratings, response indicators, and other trust signals are informational tools based on documents, behaviour, and buyer feedback at the time of display. They do not constitute a guarantee of vendor performance, product quality, authenticity, or transaction outcome. Buyers must exercise their own judgement before transacting.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Vendor subscriptions provide access to visibility, analytics, reels, and other platform tools. Subscriptions renew on the cycle selected at checkout and may be cancelled at any time from the vendor dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid cycle. Fees already paid for the current billing cycle are non-refundable except where required by law. Payment processing is handled by our payment partners; their terms also apply.
On expiry, vendor accounts automatically downgrade, paid features (verified badge, spotlight, additional listings, reels) become unavailable until the subscription is renewed.
6. Acceptable use and prohibited activity
- No fraudulent, misleading, or counterfeit listings.
- No illegal, regulated, or restricted goods (including but not limited to weapons, narcotics, prescription drugs without authorisation, stolen goods, or human/animal trafficking).
- No hate content, harassment, sexual content, or content that endangers minors.
- No fake reviews, review manipulation, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
- No scraping, automated data harvesting, or attempts to bypass rate limits or moderation.
- No impersonation of other vendors, businesses, or PingMart staff.
7. Moderation and enforcement
PingMart reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to: remove or hide listings; suspend or terminate accounts; withhold or revoke verification; reject reels or images; and refuse service to any user who violates these Terms. Moderation actions may be taken with or without notice when required to protect buyers, vendors, or the integrity of the platform. Vendors may appeal moderation decisions by emailing support@pingmart.co.
8. Disputes between buyers and vendors
For disputes arising from vendor transactions, contact the vendor first. If the issue cannot be resolved, email disputes@pingmart.co with all relevant details (vendor name, transaction date, evidence). PingMart may assist as an informational intermediary and may take moderation action on the vendor's profile if a pattern of misconduct is established, but PingMart is not legally responsible for the outcome of any vendor transaction.
9. Limitation of liability
PingMart is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingMart is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, from transactions with vendors discovered through the platform, from inaccurate listings, or from third-party services (including WhatsApp). Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by you to PingMart in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated by email. Continued use of PingMart after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
